I ran across an awesome blog today http://thxthxthx.com/. It's an entire blog devoted to thank you notes for everything from loneliness to donut shops. It has inspired me to commit to writing a thank you note each day leading up to Thanksgiving. Thus, I present to you my first thank you:
dear pinecones outside my window,
thank you for sitting in the tree and getting covered by snow which makes me feel all warm and wintery inside. you make me excited that winter is coming.
