As many of you know, I am a little bit of a perfectionist... (mom, stop laughing). So much so, that I often will stop doing something if I don't feel that I can do it adequately. That is what I feel has, sadly, happened to this blog. When we moved here, almost a year ago, I started the blog in an attempt to keep our friends and family updated on all of the things we were up to.
However, life got the best of me.
We headed off to NOLS in September, so I stopped blogging, and then, we started ski season, which was crazy, so I stopped blogging, and then we went home for two months, and I went to Russia, and now, here we are- June 30, 2010 and I've blogged 10 times in a year.
Here is where I would normally make a vow to stay diligent, stay faithful, and continue blogging forever and ever. But, I know that I can't do that, because sometimes this crazy life of ours just gets the best of me. I will however, promise to try a little harder, and have even placed a reminder for myself on my iCal so that maybe, this time next year, I'll have a little more to show for myself... maybe.
